ENUM registrations should be offered not as standalone but as bundled with other DNS, hosting and ISP services, he said. A main precondition for the commercial start in his view is that at least one provider would have to offer a full-fledged gateway to get IP-calls into the public switched network. The new service would break even only after 2-3 years and wasn’t a gold mine at the moment, he said.
