Rentrak said the DVD earned $9.39 million in the week and $9.49 million to date, while combined DVD and VHS rental earnings for the movie were $12.92 million and $13.07 million. It was the only new movie in the top 10. Last week’s #1-rented DVD -- Universal’s Bruce Almighty -- slipped to #2, earning $6.86 million in the week for total rental earnings of $16.41 million. Rentrak said combined DVD and VHS rental earnings for Bruce Almighty were $10.86 million in the week and $26.92 million to date.
